Week 3

The following are the pictures of my completed bra!

Week Three

This week my group and I decorated our bras. On Tuesday Tillie bought into school some supplies, like glitter, glue and puffy balls. Tillie and I decorated our bras and are finished but Emma and Tash still have to finish theirs. Tash was away so she could not obviously complete hers. My group and I also made a video to advertise our end product. We have all the different bras moving around the screen and music playing. We got the idea from the Cadbury eyebrow add below:

As an individual I started on my speech and I am finished.
This is my speech so far:

Product

I am here today to advertise a product to you regarding Breast Cancer- Australia.  As you all know my colleges and I represent Weno Advertising Agency. Our product we are offering to you today is a variety of bras and a TV advertisement campaign to accompany it. We have designed and created a video clip to advertise our product, you may use it if you wish.  The bras will be multi coloured and decorated with different supplies.  We chose to create and sell a new product because we believe it gives the customer satisfaction. When you are out shopping and you see a nice top and you find out the money goes to charity you feel satisfied with your purchase because you know the money is going towards a good cause. This will provide another reason for the customer to buy our product; it’s for a good cause. They will all be decorated differently so there is a range of choices for the customers. The bras will be very cheap for such a good quality, which will attract customers as well.  As you know the Breast cancer foundation does not have a range of bras in their name. We have chosen a range of sizes and different colours so that the customers would have a range and be able pick their favourite colour or design. We would expect that our product would last over 6 months and then we would have a 6 months break and then 6 months later we would restock our product and put them back on the shelfs. So every 6 months the product would be sold over a two year period of time. We are hoping that with the creation of this product that we will raise awareness of Breast Cancer and that we would raise a large amount of money for the Breast Cancer Foundation. We are hoping to generate the feelings of satisfaction, joy and quality within our target audience/market. We are hoping that our target audience/ market will become more aware of the dangers of Breast Cancer, and what affect it has on people’s lives. These bras will appeal to our target audience of 13 to 60 year of age; females because this is the age and sex type that usually wear bras and can get the terrible disease of Breast Cancer. The various colours, comfort and individuality will also appeal to our audience because it gives the bras quality. We are trying to convey the dangers and seriousness of Breast Cancer. This new product will produce better results than the previous marketing strategies because the bras and marketing campaign because the bras are comfortable, hand made/ designed and gives the customer the satisfaction of giving money towards Breast Cancer.

I also started to research what products were already in the name of Breast Cancer. My speech is coming along well and I am covering all the main areas on our task sheet and marking them off as I have complted them, ( just to make sure I dont leave anything out).

I feel that I could have improved on completing my bra (so I did). All the glitter and decorations have already fallen off and the bra is wrecked. So on the weekend I went to 'Cotton On' and bought a new pink bra. I also bought some decorations for the bra that I have sewed onto the bra. It looks much better and I am glad I started again. I had to sow each sequin on one at a time and it took me ages (it was worth it) but I love the results and I am very proud of myself.

I feel that my speech, bra and the tv add were succesfull.

I learnt that it is not a good idea to sprinkle glitter onto a bra with your hands when you have glue on them.... You can image what I had to do then. It was a disaster!

My group and I worked very productively, we got through a lot this week and I am very proud and happy with our results. The individual people in my group were very hard working, they worked and completed their given tasks.

Week 2

Week Two

BFM Marketing Assignment:
NPI: National Breast Cancer Foundation
End Product: Showing a new product- Pink Bra’s
Target Audience:
• Females 13-60
• Likely age group for breast cancer and people who wear bras

Our chosen audience is 13-60 year old ladies. These are the people who, due to further research, are most likely to contract the deadly and sometimes fatal disease of breast cancer. Another important reason as to why we chose this general age group was that these are the people who usually wear bras. There are some religious views on women wearing bras such as in Muslim society people don’t tend to wear bras as it is shunned upon. Therefore we probably would not appeal to those women, but this would not be a set back as there are millions of other people with different religious backgrounds that allow them to wear bras.

This week my group and I chose our target audeince which is above. We also comfirmed and planned our product.

Our end product is going to be pink bras with ribbons on it, we will also make an add to advertise this product.

As an individual I made my second blog entry and started to work on my topic, my topic is Product.

I flet that all of our tasks were succesful and that we are up to date on the work schedule. I have learnt that muslims dont wear bras because its against there religion and frowned upon.

All the individuals in my group were very acheiving. On sunday we have planned to go shopping to buy some resoucres for our product. Then we can began to make the bras. We have planned it on the application "Paint" and we know what we are going to do. So we are organised.

Week 1

Week One

-During this week my group and I brainstormed a range of NPIS, chose an NPI (Breast Cancer- Australia), chose our target audience, brain stormed possible ideas and we decided to make a new product to sell. We might paint some bras pink and put some meaningful writing on them to help Breast Cancer- Australia. As and individual I started on my first blog entry and started to collect some information on what we are doing.

-I felt that all of the tasks were successful and that we are very organized so far (as a group and individuals).

-I don't feel that we that any tasks could be improved on.

-I learnt that Breast Cancer has many charities in its name. It has many supporters behind it and has many different activities to raise money to help in research for Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer is very serious!!

- Emma, Natasha, Tillie and I are in a group together. Natasha was away for the first class and then Tash and Tillie for the second class, so Emma and I had to make some decisions without them. So I cannot not say (for this week) how the individual members of my group worked in achieving their/ our goals. For what I have seen Tillie and Emma are very organized and hard working.
